NMP creates vibrant original scores for documentary and dramatic feature film, multi-media and museum exhibits, corporate media projects and videos, instructional videos and shorts, such as those used in visitor centers of national parks. Each project can be adapted to your budget.

NMP can arrange a tune to fit your ensemble, whether it be instrumental or choral or adapt a simple piece for full orchestra. Whether it's for performance or film, we can transcribe, arrange and orchestrate to your needs and specifications.

NMP has served as a director and consultant for music placement and appropriateness in film and media for historical documentaries and can direct the musical collaborative process for various types of media projects.

NMP and composer, Tamara Turner, have 13 years of experience writing for the concert hall, dance and theater. We also take commissions for classical concerts or events such as original songs written for weddings and birthdays with your choice of instrumentation and vocalists.

Although Tamara has worked as a professional film composer, music editor and dance accompanist, one of her greatest passions is teaching music. Tamara’s method in teaching focuses equally on music theory and ear training while cultivating her students’ individual creativity and experimentation. Having greatly benefited from a musical education at such an early age, and believing that a music education should be accessible to every child, Tamara is determined to be a part of giving this back to her local community.

Tamara offers creative music classes for young kids ages 4 and up, and piano, composition, orchestration, and music theory lessons for youth and adults. Together we will explore classical repertoire, world music, jazz, and other genres to match your specific interests while engaging your own musical creativity and gifts.

Lessons or classes for children: We will develop musicality through interactive games and simple lessons that emphasize rhythm, pitch recognition, and an awareness of various musical styles and traditions.

Lessons and classes for students ages 10 and up: From piano students to string players to those with no musical background, students will explore fun and creative techniques to uncover and develop their own unique voice, and to better understand the music which they are interpreting.

Students will have the opportunity to write for a variety of instruments (many of which are on hand in the studio) and, where applicable, be instructed in music notation, theory, arranging, and orchestration. For interested students, we will also explore basic film scoring techniques.
